AVATAR is different as a Nepalese and Indian restaurant in Shrewsbury, AVATAR restaurant present refined Nepalese and Indian food of today from diverse regions created by me and my team displayed with style. The menu remains true to classic Nepalese and Indian recipes.

As a fine dining restaurant, my team and I strive to run AVATAR as an establishment which offers authentically prepared quality Nepalese and Indian cooking, using local produce with just a modicum of a twist. We also offer a service which is at one friendly and highly efficient.

With my training and experience forged as a chef in some of the luxury hotel group the Taj And Oberoi which includes many locations across India & Nepal, along with being chef in some of London’s most Indian restaurants including cinnamon club in westminister. By designing at the very outset, a menu based wholly on modern Nepalese & Indian dishes myself placed firmly at the fore front of the movement to take Nepalese & Indian cuisine “beyond authenticity”. With an emphasis on refined yet creative Nepalese & Indian cuisine, the menu incorporates both traditional classic favorites and original new dishes that apply eastern flavors with western twist. I have been very fortunate to not only utilize Nepal’s & India aromatic herbs, spices and other ingredients in my restaurant’s kitchen today, I have mastered their flavors both in the traditional and contemporary sense.
